11-Year-Old Dog Trainer Alexa Lauenburger Brings Winning Act To AGT
11-year-old Alexa Lauenburger returns to the Got Talent stage with an incredible dog act that has everyone cheering.
The world was first introduced to young Alexa in 2017 when she competed on the Germany’s Got Talent. After showcasing her well-trained dogs in various acrobatic routines, Alexa easily sailed through the competition.
She went on the win the entire series with her furry friends right by her side. Now, Alexa has traveled all the way to the United States to compete on America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
This special format of competition features over 40 acts from all across the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites from the entire Got Talent franchise. The competition is fierce but Alexa was definitely up for the challenge.
With her eight dogs, Alexa performed a ski-themed routine to "Jump (For My Love)" by The Pointer Sisters. The impressive act included all sorts of hops, jumps and turns. And Alexa has dogs of all different sizes, so that only adds to the difficulty of training and practice. After her stunning routine, the judges had nothing but praises.
Howie Mandel said, “This is why this show is called Champions. I’ve never seen a person your age have such control and such professionalism and be able to do what you did with eight dogs. You are truly amazing.”
Her amazing act earned Alexa a spot in the next round of competition. I cannot wait to see what this young girl comes up with next.
