11-Year-Old Earns Golden Buzzer With 'At Last' Performance

Published In Music

11-year-old Margaux earns the coveted golden buzzer with her performance of ‘At Last’ on Sweden’s Got Talent.

This classic song was originally written in 1941 for a musical, but it wasn’t until 1960 that it became the iconic tune it is today. Etta James recorded her own arrangement and the song went straight to number one.

Even decades later, ‘At Last’ continues to be regularly played and covered by other artists all over the world. And whenever you hear those famous lyrics, it truly transports you back to another time and place.

“At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over and life is like a song, oh yeah
At last the skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up clover the night I looked at you”

Today, young Margaux is putting her own spin on this classic during her audition for Sweden’s Got Talent. From the very first note, I knew that this was going to be an incredible performance. She may be young but this girl has such a big voice.

In fact, Margaux hits every single note perfectly and even adds a little bit of personality to the performance. It’s no surprise that all of the judges gave her rave reviews. But I don’t think anyone was more shocked than Margaux when one of the judges hit the golden buzzer sending her straight through to the next round.

I am so excited to see what the future holds for this young talent and her powerhouse vocals.
