6-Year-Old Claire Crosby Sings 'Baby Mine' From Dumbo With Mom And Dad
6-year-old Claire Crosby and her parents sing a precious rendition of ‘Baby Mine’ from the Disney film, Dumbo. Little Claire Crosby and her dad became Internet sensations after their duet 'You've Got A Friend In Me' went viral.
Since then, Claire has continued to share her talent with the world through a thriving YouTube channel and appearances on shows such as The Voice and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Claire absolutely loves anything Disney and many of her cover songs feature tunes from our favorite films.
Today, Claire is joined by her mom and dad for a very special version of the Dumbo classic, ‘Baby Mine.’
“Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part
Baby of mine”
In 2019, a whole new generation was introduced to this lovable elephant when Disney released a live-action version of Dumbo. The film tells the story of Dumbo, who is separated from his mother and consequently destined to live his life as a circus act.
With the help of some young, caring humans the adventure swirls around reuniting the mother with Dumbo and finding a way for the little elephant to overcome his fear of using his special gift – flying. ‘Baby Mine’ is one of the iconic songs from the film and it’s the perfect tune for Claire and her family.
“Little one, when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear
Baby of mine”
These words truly remind us of the love and care of a parent for their child. Who else remembers watching this film for the very first time?
