Viral sensation Malea Emma is back with an incredible rendition of the classical song, ‘Ave Maria.’

We first met this talented 8-year-old after a video of her singing before a soccer game between the LA Galaxy and the Seattle Sounders was shared online. Once people saw the video, social media immediately started buzzing and this little showstopper became an overnight star.

Since that moment, Malea has been traveling the country sharing her musical gift. Today, she is lending her voice to one of the most iconic songs of all time. ‘Ave Maria’ is a widely popular song from famed composer Franz Schubert.

It was originally composed in 1825, but over the years the song has evolved into a well-known classical piece. While nany artists have lent their voices to the tune, but there is nothing like hearing these words from the mouth of a child.

“Ave Maria, gratia plena,
Maria, gratia plena,
Maria, gratia plena,
Ave, Ave, Dominus,
Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus,
Et benedictus fructus ventris (tui),
Ventris tui, Jesus.
Ave Maria!”

There is truly something unique about hearing this classical song performed by this 8-year-old. It gives the iconic tune an entirely new feeling and makes each word so much more powerful.

There is no doubt that is Malea Emma is a rising star. And with a voice like this, I have a feeling we will be hearing her name for years to come.
