Amazing Grace' Blind Audition Turns The Judges Within Seconds

Published In Other

Contestant Angela Fabian stuns the judges with her heartfelt rendition of ‘Amazing Grace.’

This beloved hymn was originally written by John Newton. John wrote the hymn as a way of giving thanks to the Lord after He granted him new life.

As a sailor, John was known for his crude language and actions. But one day, John found himself caught in the middle of a terrible storm.

After spending hours at the helm of the ship, John’s thoughts began to turn to God. After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving our Father.

The touching words of ‘Amazing Grace’ were inspired by this revelation.

“Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed”

Today, Angela Fabian is putting her own spin on this iconic song as she auditions for The Voice Australia. And there was no reason from this talent to be nervous because after just a few notes, judge Boy George pressed his button and turned around. And when she hit those high notes, the others judges just had to turn and see the powerhouse vocalist behind them.

As her family cheered from the side, Angela delivered an awe-worthy performance and solidified her spot in the competition. Who else is looking forward to hearing this incredible singer again?
