Amazing Grace' Irish Flute Performance In Abandoned Church

Published In Other

Two men stand in an abandoned church for a beautiful performance of the hymn, ‘Amazing Grace.’ This worship song is beloved by many and the words of praise have truly stood the test of time.

“Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed”

This iconic hymn was written by John Newton. It served as a measure of thanks to the Lord for giving him new life.

As a sailor, John was known for his crude language and actions. But one day, he found himself caught in a terrible storm. After hours at the helm of the ship, his thoughts turned to God. After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving our Father.

Today, Paul Harvey and his friend are in an empty church for an incredible performance of this hymn. Just listen as they stand at the front of the abandoned building with an Irish flute and viola. Together, they skillfully perform the precious notes of ‘Amazing Grace.’

Hearing this hymn on these two beautiful instruments truly makes each note so much more powerful. This unique rendition is so refreshing and an incredible reminder that God is all around us.
