Baby Falls Asleep On Meteorologists Back During Live Weather Report
This meteorologist decided to bring her baby to work for International Babywearing Week. Meteorologist Susie Martin made viral news when her adorable baby falls asleep on her back during a live weather report!
The video starts with the adorable baby boy letting out a huge yawn before gingerly resting his head on Mom’s shoulder. The Minnesotan Mom multitasked as she delivered the local weather report while carrying her sleepy son on her back. Obviously he is no stranger to the newsroom as this drowsy guy didn’t let the cameras and lights stop him from having a much needed rest!
"I wanted to promote this wonderful tool that's helped me as a mom and the bonding experience between mother and son," Martin of Minnesota, told "Good Morning America." "I suppose it's a way for the baby to be comforted. It was nice for me personally because I could multitask while comforting my child."
Since Susie’s baby-wearing broadcast was noticed online, it’s received thousands of supportive comments.
"I love that it shows that women can be mothers and do their jobs without "being distracted," one commenter wrote. "So wonderful to see it [baby-wearing] normalized."
The feedback is exactly what Susie was hoping though she probably didn’t expect it to go viral. But her efforts to make awareness of the useful and bonding experience of babywearing has done just that! We love seeing this mother bonding with her young son and being able to do so at work is just an added bonus.
