Chick-Fil-A Worker Saves Customer's Change For 3 Weeks

Published In Other

Chick-Fil-A fast food restaurants are known for this incredible food and kind service. Anytime you go to Chick-Fil-A, the employees are always polite and willing to go above and beyond to make your meal a pleasant experience.

Danny Cadra knows all about the amazing service at Chick-Fil-A and that’s one of the reasons he’s a regular at the location in Lubbock, Texas. But recently, Danny experienced an amazing act of kindness that has turned into something so much bigger.

Danny had just received his food from the drive-thru window when he drove off without his change. Cashier Marcus Henderson could’ve just put the money back in the register, but he knew that Danny would come back so he did something incredible instead.

Marcus got an envelope and put the change inside, for safe keeping, until Danny came back and Marcus could give him his change. Every single day that Marcus came to work, he put the envelope in his back pocket, waiting for Danny to return.

It was nearly 3 weeks later when Danny and his daughter came into the restaurant. He was blown away when Marcus presented him with the change that he had completely forgot about.

After the two started talking, they realized that they had more in common that just the act of kindness. In college, Danny was a trumpet major at Texas Tech and that is the exact same major as Marcus. These two have created a bond and it all started with a kind gesture. What an amazing story.
