Every year during the holiday season, the most beautiful Christmas ads can be seen. This year, PENNY, the German grocery store used their commercial to remind us that family is so important.

This emotional video recalls a moment years ago when a mother and her adult daughter lost touch after a fight. Since that day, they have never spoken or spent Christmas together. But the strain of the distance was too much for this mother to bear so she decided to travel to her daughter's and make up with her. This mother goes through trial after trial to make it to her daughter's house but when she's finally able to ring that doorbell, every hardship was worth it.
