Corgi Adopts Kitten After Losing 7 Puppies

Sometimes, it seems like dogs and cats get a bad reputation for being enemies. But if you, or anyone you know, has owned or seen both animals interact together then you know that this is far from the truth. God placed both of these creatures on this earth for a reason and they were beautifully and wonderfully made.

Cats and dogs each have special traits that make them the perfect companions for our family and they can truly bring so much joy and happiness into our lives. While these animals share a unique relationship with us, they also share a very special relationship with each other.

Take this sweet Corgi and her adopted kitten, for example. Irma’s mood and personality dramatically changed after she lost her litter of puppies. This corgi was rushed to the vet for an emergency c-section, but sadly, all 7 puppies passed away. Johanna, Irma’s owner, noticed that her normally happy dog was not acting like herself. So, she decided to try and cheer Irma up with a new kitten.

I don’t think anyone had any clue just how much this was going to change this corgi’s life. At first, Irma was a little bit skeptical about the new creature in the house. But soon, Irma took the 2-week-old kitten under her wing and treated her just like one of her own.

Now, these two sweet animals are inseparable and it’s given Irma back her old personality. It’s so amazing to watch God’s creatures come together in such a beautiful way.
