Crowd Sings Anthem After It's Not Played Before Game

Published In Other

A California crowd came together in a big way before a recent championship softball game. Before the ball game started, it was announced that they would not be playing The National Anthem.

That's when the crowd all got on their feet and started to belt out 'The Star-Spangled Banner' on their own. In perfect unison, they gave tribute to our great country in such a beautiful way.

The championship game was the second game of the day at Fresno State's softball stadium. The organizers said that they played the anthem prior to the first game so they wouldn't be playing it again.

I'm sure there were a lot of goosebumps in that stadium as everyone came together for this amazing display of unity. The tournament organizers have now said that from this point on, they will be playing the anthem before every game.
