Death Note - Anime Bible Study

Today's study discusses the Biblical themes and parallels found in the anime Death Note. As you can see by the video length, there were no shortage of topics worth addressing as far as how the series directly and theatrically tied itself back to the Bible, and not all topics were able to be addressed. What we were able to address in the study however are by far the most important. We will discuss firstly the nature of the Death Note and how it ties back to the definition of evil itself as presented in the Garden of Eden, the parallels between Kira and the prophecied Antichrist, the parallels between L and Jesus Christ before His resurrection, N following His resurrection, and most importantly, where the inspiration for the concept of the Death Note came from in Scripture and how it is actually something you do want your name to be written in.
