Did God Ordain Joseph to be Sold into Egypt?

Joseph's brothers committed the most cruel act by selling him as a slave based totally on the nevy and hatred they held for him. Yet, years later, Joseph, according to the language we find in some Bible translations, appears to say that this mistreatment was God's plan all along.
