Faithful Woman Has Baby At Age 53

Kim was 53-years-old when she gave birth to her first child. This may seem older than most, but when you hear her story, you will know it was God's perfect timing. Kim had relationships but it was just never the right time to have a baby.

She began to get depressed because she was the last of her single friends and she so badly wanted to be a mother. She recalls walking past maternity stores, just longing to be able to go in and buy something she needed. People would ask her if something was wrong with her because she was not married and did not have a family of her own. But that all changed when she met the love of her life, Nova.

She and Nova got married when she was 48 years old. He shared her desire to have a baby and he really wanted to try for a child that shared their same DNA. So they thought that maybe surrogacy would be the best option for them. When Kim went to the doctor to see the possibilities, her doctor shockingly encouraged her to get pregnant! All she needed was a donor egg.

She thought that it would be impossible for her to have a baby at her age but it gave her so much faith when she heard that she could do it. Despite the risks, she refused to be fearful, and to her pleasant surprise, she got pregnant on her first round! What a huge blessing that was for her and her husband.
