Firefighter Catches Kid Tossed From Burning Building

Published In Other

In Decatur, Georgia, firefighters were in for a dramatic night when a fire raged in an apartment building. As the crew arrived on scene, they found a family of eight children trapped in the burning building. The firefighters quickly scrambled to rescue the family.

That's when the father tossed his toddler off a rescue ladder to the safety of the ground and crew below. Thankfully, Captain Scott Stroup was on scene and made a miraculous catch, saving the toddler's life. Captain Stroup twisted his knee during the catch, but that was a small price to pay to make a life-changing save. This terrifying moment was all caught on camera, but thankfully, there was a happy ending to this story. But this wasn't the only save during that dramatic life. Other firefighters helped save the entire family and their infant babies.

I'm so glad these firefighters was in the right place at the right time and able to make an amazing rescue. I know the family is forever grateful to the entire crew for helping to save them during their time of need. Prayers for this family and many thanks to our heroes in the fire department!
