All the characters in this play have one thing in common and that is Janet. Lets start with her three best friends Shatwika and Suzan the sinner and the saint. Suzan was Janets college roommate. She has her masters in consumer science, and is now studying theology in her, but will a deadly secret ruin her again? Shatwika is Janets first cousin on her momma nem side. She is a Ultra-Po-Negro with her PHD (party having degree) in Ghetto-ology. Latrice is sassy and sweet she has one problem shes always been in love with her best friends(Janet) brother (Dwayne) until she came home from college only to find out hes another womans (Tonya) husband. If loving him is wrong does she want to be right? Payton, Janets fiancé is a good man, hes loving, hard working, a provider and hes madly in love with Janet. He is determined to make their marriage work because his first marriage crashed and burned. Tracy, Paytons first wife was a gold digger that ran around on him. She loved the fact that he was a movie director making mega dollars, and was never home to spend one, he was always gone it was a gold diggers paradise.
