How Do You Solve A Problem Like Corona?' By Singing 'Nuns'

Published In Other

In this charming parody, one woman dressed up and put together a video of nuns singing ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Corona?’ to the tune of ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?’ from The Sound of Music.

“Nowadays, no one is safe and yet she’s at the beach. And yesterday, at home we stayed but she went out to eat,” the nuns sing as they are discussing Maria and their concern for her actions. “I haven’t seen her wash her hands in nearly a week. She’s exposing all of us in the abbey. She tries to talk to me, but she won’t stay 6 feet away. Whether or not we have it, let’s be careful anyway. Now you don’t want to face it but indeed I must say, Maria shouldn’t come back to the abbey, until at least 2 weeks have passed. And furthermore, we should cancel mass.”

These parody lyrics were written by Kira “Dove” Haas, and she also sings all four nun parts in the video.

“How do you solve a problem like corona?
How do you keep the kids in quarantine?
How do you solve a problem like corona?
A medical gown, some Clorox, TP”

What a fantastic video made by such a creative and talented woman!

“This is a truly impressive parody from a truly impressive entertainer who I have never heard of before, but should get some recognition, as this share would've taken quite some effort to create,” writes one person on YouTube. “Her vocals are excellent and interaction with herself in harmonies are great as well as her glances considering she couldn't see herself at any time is impressive for final edit.”

“This is about the best parody I have seen,” comments another person. “Wonderfully well put together, smashing words, very, very funny. Top marks!”

May this fun video uplift your spirits and bring a smile to your face!
