Country artist Jimmy Fortune leads us all in beautiful worship with ‘It Is Well With My Soul.’ This classic hymn is beloved by hearts all over the world and it still remains a staple in church services today.

'It Is Well With My Soul' was written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss. After Horatio lost all four of his daughters, he wrote down these words as a testament of how God is with us through the good times and the bad.

Today, talented artist Jimmy is lending his voice to this iconic tune. Jimmy has been a staple in the country music scene for decades. He started out as a member of the popular singing group, The Statler Brothers. In fact, he toured with them for over 20 years.

After his retirement from the band, he decided to embark on a solo career that included a hit gospel album. Now, he is at the Gaither Studios for a special rendition of ‘It Is Well With My Soul.’
