Life-change is all about quitting. The old life is gone: a new life has begun. But in order for this to happen we need to quit. Quit the lies, quit pretending that things are OK, quit pretending we can do this alone. Quitting feels like we’re a loser, but it’s exactly the opposite, because there is no sin beyond forgiveness, no life outside of His grace. Quitting our old life is what Jesus wants. Jesus loves quitters.
