Koryn Hawthorne Sings A Cappella Version Of 'How Great Thou Art'
Inspiring Christian artist Koryn Hawthorne sings an a cappella rendition of the classic hymn ‘How Great Thou Art.’
It took years for this iconic hymn to be fully complete. It was not until 1949 that the final English version was officially published.
But since that moment, the beloved words have truly stood the test of time. It’s truly a blessing every time we hear this hymn of praise.
“O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed”
We first met Koryn Hawthorne when she was just 17 years old. Koryn competed on season 8 of the popular singing competition ‘The Voice.’
From the very beginning, this talented singer was open about her faith and even performed ‘How Great Thou Art’ during one of the live shows. Since then, this talented artist has made a name for herself in Christian music.
Today, she is once again lending her voice to this timeless hymn. Just listen as she belts out the touching words completely a cappella.
“Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!”
There is no doubt that Koryn was blessed with a talent for performing and I’m so glad that she’s using her God-given talent to give praise to His Name.
