Light painter Alex Dowis moves the judges with his beautiful tribute to first responders during the America’s Got Talent semifinals.

40-year-old Alex Dowis is an artist from the Czech Republic. Prior to his impressive audition on AGT, Alex competed on the Czech/Slovak version of Got Talent in 2012.

This talented performer placed second in the competition. But now, Alex has traveled all the way to The United States to showcase his unique light-painting skills.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a tribute to the moon landing and the evolution of humanity displayed beautifully through light. But it is his semifinal performance that truly left everyone in awe.

Alex used his visual display to create a moving tribute to the first responders of September 11th. As the story unfolds before our eyes, it’s hard not to shed a tear. The entire world remembers where they were that fateful day and it is a moment that will forever be etched in time.

Alex did a tremendous job of honoring these brave first responders and it just shows how art can truly make you feel emotions you never knew. Even though some of these men and women may no longer be with us on this earth, we can take comfort knowing that they are safe in the arms of the Lord.

And this beautiful tribute is the perfect way to show respect and admiration for our first responders. We thank each and every one of you for your service and you’re continued effort to save the lives of others.
