Looking Up' Matthew West Acoustic Performance Thanking All The Dads

Contemporary Christian artist Matthew West shares a touching song called ‘Looking Up.’

The powerful words were inspired by his own father and it’s a reminder to us all how much our dads truly shape our lives.

“I don’t know how to lead them
So, lead my every move
‘Cause I know those eyes are looking up to me
That’s why I’m looking up to You”

As Father’s Day approached, Matthew wanted to release a special video he made just for his own father. On Instagram, he wrote about the story behind ‘Looking Up.’“While I was looking up to my dad, he was looking up to God for guidance. That’s what I want my kids to see in me: not a dad who’s perfect, but a dad who’s pointing to their Heavenly Father at every turn.”

Looking up to the light I know will guide me”
