This 35-year-old singer shot to fame as the grand winner of season two of the popular Got Talent competition. Marcelito has a unique talent where he can sing in both the male and female vocal range.
This incredibly rare gift helped him breeze through the competition and earn a record deal. Today, he’s back on the big stage as a contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. The popular competition features over 40 acts from all over the globe.
The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites. Marcelito knew the competition would be fierce, so he pulled out all the stops with his performance of ‘The Prayer.’
‘The Prayer’ was written in both English and Italian for artists Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli to sing solo. But it was their incredible duet performance that truly propelled the song into the classic that it is today. Marcelito decided to sing both parts of this iconic song and it was completely awe-inspiring.
