Remembrance' Chris Rupp Original Piano Piece With Dance

Published In Music

In this beautiful video, Jazmine Curie dances to ‘Remembrance’, an original piano piece by Chris Rupp.

Jazmine’s dance moves are captivating, and you can really feel the emotion of the song in her face and her movements. It is amazing the kind of story she can tell with her dance.

The artist behind the piano song, Chris Rupp, rose to fame as the founder and a member of the popular a cappella group Home Free. The group started out as contestants on the show The Sing Off and went on to win the whole competition. After his success with his a cappella group, Chris decided to embark on a solo career where he produced his own music. The song in this video, ‘Remembrance,’ is a track on his new original piano CD titled Impressions.

The beautiful dancing in this video reminds me of the times that dancing is mentioned in the Bible. Throughout the Old Testament, dancing was used as a means to worship and praise God. What a wonderful thing to use your talents, whether through music or dance, to praise our Heavenly Father!

Psalm 30:11-12
“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.”

Psalm 150: 1-6
“Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.”
