World-renowned tenor Josh Groban performs a stirring rendition of his single, ‘River.’ This song was originally released in 2018 and quickly became a hit for the talented singer.

“So I walk down to the river,
Where the troubles, they can't find me,
Let the waters there remind me,
The sun will be there when we wake,
I walk down to the river,”

As the Coronavirus has forced many people all around the globe to stay in their homes, it has caused many feelings of fear and uncertainty. That’s when Josh decided to add some joy into people’s day with his newest endeavor called Shower Songs. Through social media, Josh will take song requests and perform them from home.

Today, he’s singing one of his own songs called ‘River.’

“Though I might not understand it,
It's not always as we planned it,
But we grow stronger when we break,
So I walk down to the river,
I walk down to the river”

Back in 2018, Josh spoke to People magazine about the message behind the song. “I hope this song and video are a reminder that it’s the simple steps, the smallest gestures, that can pull us back to the light. It’s those things for me. Find your “river.””

As we all walk through troubling times, the words of ‘River’ may be more relevant than ever. At many are isolated at home, it is so important to make sure that we are caring for ourselves both mentally and physically. We thank Josh for sharing this message and bringing happiness during these darker times.
