Sarah Grace Unique Performance Of 'Amazing Grace' On The Voice
16-year-old Sarah Grace has been a powerhouse contestant on The Voice since her very first appearance. During the blind auditions, Sarah turned 3 of the judges around with her impressive rendition of ‘Ball And Chain.’ And when they learned that she was just a teenager, the judges were even more amazed. Ultimately, Sarah Grace joined Team Kelly and she’s made it all the way to the Top 8.
Today, this talented musician is showcasing her range of skills as she performs a very special rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ during the live playoffs. Over the years, many contestants have chosen this classic hymn, but Sarah really wanted to put her unique spin on the gospel tune. From the very first note, I knew this was going to be a performance that everyone was going to remember.
‘Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see’
Just when I thought this soulful rendition was over, the teen reached over and picked up her trumpet. Sarah Grace started to play this hymn and I was in awe. Whether or not you like her take on ‘Amazing Grace,’ you’ve got to admit that this young lady has a whole lot of talent. And it’s so refreshing to hear hymns performed on live television for the whole world to hear. There’s definitely a reason that Sarah has made it this far in the competition and I think she has what it takes to go the entire way. What are your thoughts on this unique hymn performance?
