Stand-Up Comedian Ryan Niemiller Won't Let Disability Hold Him Back

Published In Other

Stand-up comedian Ryan Niemiller is bringing the laughs with his inspiring audition on America’s Got Talent.

On his website, the funny guy is described by saying, “Despite being born with a disability in both arms, Ryan Niemiller, the self-proclaimed “Cripple Threat of Comedy” shares his views of the world from the perspective of the handicapped.”

Before his performance, Ryan highlighted his physical disability and how he hopes to bring awareness to people with disabilities. “When I was growing up, there was nobody that looked like me on television. So, I kind of want to be the first one that’s doing all that. I want people to be able to look at what I’m doing.”

After a hilarious routine that had the judges and audience in stitches, Ryan waited for the reviews. One by one, the judges raved about the comedian. Judge Howie Mandel said, “You are brilliant. You are real. You are authentic. You are funny. You are a star. There is not a room that you should not be allowed to play in and I believe that you should be in the finals here.”

Ryan easily earned four ‘yes’ votes from the judges to move on to the next round of competition. This talented man is truly showcasing that nothing should hold us back from our dreams. If one child can watch Ryan on television and be motivated to pursue their passion, then everything is completely worthwhile. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely looking forward to Ryan’s next routine.
