The Voice Of My Savior' Bluegrass Gospel From The Stonewalls

Published In Music

In this performance, a bluegrass gospel band called The Stonewalls sings the song ‘The Voice of My Savior.’

“I heard a sweet voice so tenderly calling
Saying arise be saved evermore
And I knew it must be the voice of my Savior
For I had not heard a voice like it before

I remember one night in an old-fashioned meeting
I was praying to God to redeem my poor soul
When I heard the sweet voice of my lovin’ Savior
And I started that night to make heaven my home”

The Stonewalls did a great job performing this gospel bluegrass classic. All of the instruments and different vocals of the group come together in their music circle to make such a wonderful, full sound.

From the state of Tennessee, The Stonewalls formed their group in 2018. According to their Facebook page, The Stonewalls “enjoy bringing a traditional brand of music to fans of the bluegrass genre. Timeless harmonies and original songs along with driving straight to the point musicianship, The Stonewalls are here to stay in bluegrass.”

It is so wonderful to see this group of musicians using their talents to bring glory to the Lord! May they continue to use their God-given gifts to be a light in this world.

James 1:19-25
19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
