That’s one of the reasons she developed such a loyal following and, ultimately, won The Voice competition.

On the season finale, Maelyn stood on stage with a musical icon and performed ‘Angel’ with the original singer and songwriter, Sarah McLachlan.

“In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here”

This song has provided comfort and support to so many hearts all over the world. And it is the perfect compliment to her beautiful vocals and tone. Maelyn certainly deserved the trophy and we definitely haven’t seen the last of this incredible musician.
