Woman Falls In Love With A Homeless Man

Emmy Abrahamson was sitting on a bench in Amsterdam one evening when her entire life changed. As she waited to meet a friend for dinner, a homeless man sat down next to her. She noticed his unkempt appearance and how he carried a briefcase, but as he started a conversation with her, Emmy remembered laughing and having a good time.

Vic Kocula became homeless after he ran out of money on backpacking trip and his alcoholism began to take over his life. But when Vic spotted Emmy on that bench, he knew he had to walk over and talk to her. After their first meeting, he invited Emmy to meet him again to continue the conversation. They had a wonderful day together but Emmy lived in Vienna and needed to return home. She went back not knowing if she'd ever see Vic again, but he surprised her by following her all the way to Vienna.

Now, this unlikely couple are happily married with children over a decade later. This is truly an amazing story of finding love when you least expect it. And I'm so glad that Emmy was able to look past Vic's appearance and see the amazing man he is inside.
