10-Year-Old Performs 'A Million Dreams' On The Voice Kids
10-year-old Joshua Bouwer stunned the crowd and judges with his beautiful rendition of ‘A Million Dreams’ on The Voice South Africa.
The Greatest Showman was released in 2017 and starred Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. It told the story of P.T. Barnum and how this showman created the Barnum & Bailey Circus. The music featured in the film because an instant classic with
‘A Million Dreams’ becoming a standout hit.
“Cause every night I lie in bed
The brightest colors fill my head
A million dreams are keeping me awake
I think of what the world could be
A vision of the one I see
A million dreams is all it's gonna take
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make”
Today, young Joshua is taking on this modern classic as he belts out the words to ‘A Million Dreams.’ At first, Joshua stood on stage all by himself as he hit every single note flawlessly. Then, from the sides, a choir emerged and added their voices to this beloved tune.
From the shining lights to the inspiring lyrics, this performance definitely won over the crowd at the live shows. The Voice South Africe is full of incredible talent but Joshua truly stood out about the rest with this jaw-dropping number.
Even though many artists have lent their voices to this song, Joshua’s rendition was a standout. This boy may be young but he certainly has the voice of a seasoned performer. I have a feeling that we will be seeing this pre-teen for years to come.
