4 friends come together to cover the inspirational Thomas Rhett song ‘Be A Light.’

Thomas Rhett wrote ‘Be A Light’ back in 2019 with with Josh Miller, Josh Thompson and Matt Dragstrem. But, after the recent tornadoes in Nashville and the global pandemic of the Coronavirus, he felt led to release the song.

Now, the song is taking on a whole new meaning as we continue the fight against racial injustice.

“In a world full of hate, be a light
When you do somebody wrong, make it right
Don't hide in the dark, you were born to shine
In a world full of hate, be a light”

The original recording features the superstar vocals of Chris Tomlin, Hillary Scott, Reba McEntire, and Keith Urban. Thomas Rhett told Nash Country Daily “The voices who join me on this track are some of the brightest lights I know. I hope this song serves as a reminder that we are all in this together.”

Now, a whole new group of voices are putting their own spin on this inspirational song. Just listen as Maddie Wilson, Bri Ray, Madilyn Paige and Yahosh Bonner come together to belt out these powerful words.

“In a place that needs a change, make a difference
In a time full of noise, just listen
'Cause life is but a breeze, better live it
In a place that needs a change, make a difference”

‘Be A Light’ is truly a song our whole world needs at the moment. Who else is working towards being a light right now?
