Edelweiss' Men Of GENTRI Cover Sound of Music Classic

Published In Music

The talented vocal trio of GENTRI perform a beautiful rendition of ‘Edelweiss’ from The Sound Of Music.

The iconic song was originally composed by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein for the Broadway production and was later used in the popular film. This was the last song that the famous duo wrote together.

Over the years, ‘Edelweiss’ has become a classic and countless artists have lent their voices to the tune. Today, the three men of GENTRI are belting out these famous words and it is absolutely stunning.

“Edelweiss Edelweiss
Every morning you greet me
Small and white
Clean and bright
You look happy to meet me”

GENTRI was formed in 2014 by members Brad Robins, Casey Elliott and Bradley Quinn Lever. On their website, the group describes their unique sound as “a signature sound they call “Cinematic Pop,” the music of GENTRI is transfused with lush, epic orchestrations and rich, dynamic three-part harmonies.”

From original songs to talented covers, these men always delight the audience with their performances.

Today, they’re standing in the Swiss Alps for this incredible rendition of ‘Edelweiss.’ As they sing of this beautiful, white flower found in the Mountains, we are in awe of the stunning backdrop.

“Blossom of snow may you bloom and grow
Bloom and grow forever
Edelweiss Edelweiss
Bless my homeland forever”

This incredible combination of vocal talent and scenery creates an unforgettable rendition of this musical tune. Who else feels like they were just transported back in time by this GENTRI cover?
