AGT Alum Tyler Butler-Figueroa Performs Violin Cover Of 'Jesus Loves Me'

Published In Music

10-year-old violinist Tyler Butler- Figueroa teams up with his brother for a beautiful performance of ‘Jesus Loves Me.’

We first met this talented young man when he auditioned for the fourteenth season of America’s Got Talent. Tyler shared that he started to play the violin at the age 7, after he nearly lost his life to cancer.

His treatments caused him to lose his hair and he immediately became a target for bullies. But music gave Tyler an outlet and he started to gain confidence and come out of his shell.

His performance of ‘Stronger’ from Kelly Clarkson led judge Simon Cowell to press the golden buzzer. Since his AGT appearance, Tyler has continued to share his talent with the world. Now, he’s sharing his faith too with this inspiring performance of ‘Jesus Loves Me.’

Joined by his brother, Tyler leads us all in worship with this beloved hymn.

“Jesus loves me this I know
For the bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong”

‘Jesus Loves Me’ is one of the most iconic hymns of all time. We all know and love these words of praise for our King. The simple lyrics remind us all that Jesus loves us despite any of our sins or shortcomings.

What a beautiful blessing to hear this song from the next generation.

“Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me
The bible tells me so”

Psalm 95:1-2 “Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”
