Carlos was walking down the streets of Madrid, Spain when he heard DanDann crooning the song ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me’ by Nina Simon. DanDann’s voice is beautiful and enticing, and it is clear to see why she has gathered such a crowd to listen to her music. And Carlos was so drawn to her singing that he had to show his appreciation through his dancing!

The song, ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me,’ was a 1958 single and was released as the 2nd track of Nina Simone’s album titled To Be Free. Nina Simone recorded the song as a jazz standard, but it remained relatively unknown until 1987. That was when it was used in a commercial for Chanel No. 5 perfume and rose in popularity. And thankfully it did because it is a wonderful and catchy song to listen to.
