Former Child Singer Connie Talbot Returns To AGT With Touching Original Song
Britain’s Got Talent finalist Connie Talbot returns to the Got Talent stage with an inspiring original song.
We first met Connie when she was just six years old. Connie auditioned for the very first season of Britain’s Got Talent back in 2007.
This sweet little girl won over the judges with her beautiful performance of ‘Over The Rainbow.’ Connie quickly became a fan favorite and made it all the way to the finals of the competition.
She came in second overall, losing to opera singer Paul Potts. Now, Connie is a seasoned performer at the age of nineteen. She’s released multiple albums and toured all over the country. But today, Connie is back as a competitor on America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
This special format of competition features over 40 acts from all across the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites from the entire Got Talent franchise. Today, Connie is on stage with a beautiful performance of her original song ‘I Would.’
“Would you stand by my side
Until the end of time?
Would you love me unconditionally
Be the air that I breathe
And do anything for us?
'Cause I would”
Connie earned a standing ovation from the crowd and rave reviews from the judges. Simon said, “You nailed it and I could feel that in the room.” But it was Alesha’s comments that truly hit home. “It’s just so lovely watching you have what I would call a full-circle moment. Starting out on this show and now it could be the start of something beautiful for you.”
