Veteran With PTSD Cries During Audition

Crissy Ashcroft spent 13 years in the military but had to separate from the army because of medical reasons. Her time in the army wasn't easy. After suffering an injury, Crissy was left with PTSD.

It has taken a real toll on her life and almost stopped her from following her dream. Crissy wanted to audition for The Voice Australia, but the day of she almost didn't make it from her anxiety.

Thankfully, Crissy made it to the stage and once she started singing all of the judges took notice. Her performance of "When The War Is Over" truly struck a chord with everyone. And when she shared her story, there were definitely some tears shed. You can tell that Crissy put her all into this emotional performance and this is truly the start of her new life. What an amazing audition!
