6 Sisters Perform Cover Of 'Priceless' From For King And Country
With their beautiful voices, the six sisters of Cimorelli cover the song ‘Priceless’ by For King & Country in this music video.
Like the band For King & Country, which is made up of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, Cimorelli is made up of six sisters: Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani. Their ages range from 18-28 years old.
Cimorelli has been performing together as a band for 10 years. As Christians, the sisters like to use the gifts that God gave them in order to give the glory back to Him. They have made many beautiful covers of Christian songs including ‘Oceans’ and ‘Reckless Love’.
Their mother taught them all how to sing and harmonize with each other at an early age. And it shows because all of their voices blend together so beautifully! When Cimorelli sings ‘Priceless,’ you can really feel the meaning of the song behind the lyrics.
“I see you dressed in white
Every wrong made right
I see a rose in bloom
At the sight of you
Oh, so priceless
Irreplaceable, unmistakable, incomparable
Darling, it's beautiful
I see it all in you
Oh, so priceless”
The song ‘Priceless’ was written for the movie of the same name. It’s the first film to come from the Smallbone Brothers, and both the movie and its theme song share a powerful message. The meaning that is conveyed to audiences is that no matter who you are, what you’ve done, or how you see yourself, you are of infinite worth in God’s eyes.
It is a beautiful message that’s worth being reminded of. Like it says in the Bible, “we are God’s masterpiece” (Eph. 2:10), we are “a chosen people” (1 Peter 2:9), and we are “worth far more than rubies” (Prov. 31:10). If you ever struggle with self-doubt or insecurities, just look to God’s Word to see how priceless you really are.
