Across The Miles' Redeemed Quartet Reminds Us Of The Power Of Prayer
The Redeemed Quartet reminds us of the power of prayer with ‘Across The Miles.’ This touching tune is the perfect song during these troubling times.
“All around this world I’ve travelled,
Through it all I’ve come to find.
The ties that bind can come unraveled.
I’ve had to face some lonely times.”
Brothers Nate and Ben Duncan and Caleb and Josh Koble make up the Redeemed Quartet. Since 2014, these four men have been sharing the Word of God through their unique Southern gospel sound.
Today, they are using their God-given talent to worship His Name with ‘Across The Miles.’ As much of the world shelters at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s easy to feel lonely. But even when we cannot physically be together, we know that prayer can cross any distance.
Just listen to these beautiful words and be reminded that you are never alone.
“But when I’m tired and feeling low
Oh what a comfort it is to know,
Across the miles,
There’s someone praying for me.
Across the miles,
There’s someone on their knees.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4 “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
