Fatima' Movie Explores Faith Through the Eyes of Children
Enjoy the newest movie trailer for the faith-based film ‘Fatima.’ Inspired by a true story, the powerful film tells of a miraculous vision that appeared to three young children.
In Portugal, in 1917, a 10-year old shepherd and her two young cousins saw visions of the Virgin Mary. As they rush to tell others the wonderful news, they are met with an unexpected reaction from their family and community.
The trailer description continues the summary saying, “Their revelations inspire believers but anger officials of both the Church and the secular government, who try to force them to recant their story. As word of their prophecy spreads, tens of thousands of religious pilgrims flock to the site in hopes of witnessing a miracle. What they experience will change their lives forever.”
This is not the first time that the astonishing story from Fatima, Portugal has been seen on the big screen. The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima was made in 1952.
Now, it’s getting a modern-day update from director Marco Pontecorvo. This inspiring film also includes an incredible soundtrack with the original song “Gratia Plena” (Full of Grace), performed by Andrea Bocelli and composed by renowned Italian composer Paolo Buonvino. The story reminds us all that “faith begins at the edges of understanding.”
