New Zealand Child Singer Performs 'Hallelujah' On Little Big Shots
On the inspiring show Little Big Shots, a 13-year-old boy has flown all the way from New Zealand to share his talent by singing ‘Hallelujah’ for the audience.
The boy’s name is Selevasio, and he lives in New Zealand but is originally from Tonga. Before he sings, Selevasio and the host share a conversation. The host asked him what he loves about singing.
“Well, I think I just love everything about it,” he says. “I just try to share it as much as I can.” Then Selevasio sweetly adds, “I wouldn’t be here today without my mom.”
The two then banter back and forth about rugby, and the young man shares that he used to play rugby a lot. “Our team was actually very good,” Selevasio shares. “We even made the newspaper for being undefeated for more than 150 games.”
He goes on to talk about how he is the oldest sibling and has one younger sister and two younger brothers. Selevasio shares how he would love to be a professional singer and make an album one day. He has actually been working on an original song! What a dedicated young man!
Then Selevasio confidently takes the stage and sings the song ‘Hallelujah.’
“Now, I've heard there was a secret chord that David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift, the baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah”
What a stunning performance by this young man! Selevasio has such an incredibly beautiful voice, and it is wonderful to see him sharing his amazing talent with the world. May he always pursue his passions and use his God-given talents to bring joy and happiness to those around him!
