Cashel Gardner was also inspired by Lane Goodwin as he bravely fought childhood cancer. Cashel can understand what Lane went through, being a victim of spinal muscular atrophy (completely paralyzed but can feel everything). Just before Lane passed away, Cashel left Lane with this incredibly touching message that everyone should see.
