Child Violinist Performs Emotional Rendition Of 'What A Wonderful World'
Talented teen violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa returns to the America’s Got Talent stage with an incredible performance of ‘What A Wonderful World.’
We first met this talented young man when he auditioned for the fourteenth season of America’s Got Talent. I think the whole world’s heart melted when they heard his touching backstory and watched his incredible performance.
Tyler started to play the violin at the age 7, after he nearly lost his life to cancer. His treatments caused him to lose his hair and he immediately became a target for bullies. But music, and the violin, gave Tyler an outlet and he started to gain confidence and come out of his shell.
His performance of ‘Stronger’ from Kelly Clarkson led judge Simon Cowell to press the golden buzzer. Tyler made it all to the finals with his impressive violin performances getting better and better each week.
Now, Tyler is back on the stage that started it all as a semi-finalist contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. This popular competition features over 40 acts from the entire Got Talent franchise.
The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists and fan-favorites from all around the globe. And Tyler came to win with an amazing performance of ‘What A Wonderful World.’
The judges raved about this semi-final performance. Howie Mandel said, “It was absolutely beautiful and emotional and captivating.”
This young man truly has the talent to go all the way. Who are you rooting for on this season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions?
