Sunshine Gospel Choir Earns Golden Buzzer On Italy's Got Talent

The Sunshine Gospel Choir earned the coveted golden buzzer after their praise-worthy performance on Italy’s Got Talent. It was a welcome sight when this gifted group graced the stage for the most recent season of the popular talent show.

Gospel choirs seem so rare nowadays and even fewer are competing in, and winning, these types of competitions. But the Sunshine Gospel Choir is here to turn all of those misconceptions upside down with their foot-stomping number.

Lead by an energetic choir leader, these members liven up the whole crowd as they sing out words of worship. The crowd was clapping along and even the judges seemed to be enjoying the entertaining show.

After taking the whole theater to church, judge Joe Bastianich had nothing but kind words for the dynamic vocal ensemble. He even started to get in the spirit and began shouting out “Can I get an ‘Amen!’” And that’s when he reached over and stunned the choir when he pressed the golden buzzer.

Now, the Sunshine Gospel Choir will automatically move on in the competition. This is such a huge accomplishment for any act on Italy’s Got Talent, but it is extra special to see a gospel choir receive this honor.

There is no doubt that the choir has plenty of talent. And there is nothing better than watching them use that talent to sing praises to the Name of our Lord. I am so glad that we will be seeing more from this incredible group.
