This Is My Father's World' Performed By Child's Choir Of Fountainview Academy

Published In Music

In this beautiful video, musicians from Fountainview Academy perform the song ‘This Is My Father’s World.’

Right from the beginning, the video is very peaceful with the students playing their instruments among the beautiful fall foliage. The lovely music from the string and brass instruments just adds more beauty to the scene. Then the singer comes into view as she is paddling a canoe in a calm river. Her voice is so clear and angelic as she sings the lyrics to the song.

“This is my father's world
And to my listening ears
All nature sings, and round me rings
The music of the spheres

This is my father's world
The birds their carols raise
The morning light, the lily white
Declare their maker's praise”

This video and the lyrics of ‘This Is My Father’s World’ remind of how nature is one of God’s most beautiful creations. Through nature, God is able to teach us, speak to us, and provide for us. All throughout scripture, we can find instances where God’s creation is described in beautiful ways.

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” – Job 12:7-10

“In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land”. – Psalm 95:4-5

What a blessing it is to listen to this song and praise God for all of His creation!
